CAPE 10 is a house of guilds and social innovations. The building was conceived and built by the renowned health ORF expert and internist Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn. CAPE 10 has around 5,000 m² of usable space and houses various social and health institutions as well as a large event room that can be rented for various activities. The income generated from the events flows into the financing of CAPE 10’s social projects and thus contributes to the implementation of urgently needed social and educational programs.
The hospital is the only one in Austria to have both a children’s and an adult primary care unit (PVE). Up to 650 children go in and out of CAPE 10 every day and receive health care on a cash basis. In addition to an ENT doctor, a pharmacy and the Obdach Ester day center for homeless women, we are also home to the organization Licht ins Dunkel, the Future Health Lab, the CAPE 10 Foundation and a socio-economic catering business that supports women and trains them for the job market.
CMb.industries worked together with Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn and other partners on the conception of the Future Health Lab and its possible uses. CMb.industries Managing Director Chris Müller is a member of the CAPE 10 Foundation Advisory Board.
