Model factory of a productive city
What the tobacco factory is the metaphor of smoking heads, Promprylad is the deflection of a barometer. The Ukrainian Promprylad factory in Ivano-Frankivsk has been producing these for years. For a young, dedicated team, the measuring curve for topics such as new economy, urban design, contemporary art and education has been beating. In February 2022, they had to change the program again at short notice. Instead of welding prototypes, they knotted camouflage nets and produced bulletproof vests. Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine made the resilience of the location abundantly clear. The development plans remain unchanged.
