In 2019, the art installation “For Forest” showed us that forests will soon be in museums – with a temporary art intervention by artist Klaus Littmann. In the Klagenfurt stadium, 299 trees around 14 meters high were on display instead of soccer players on the pitch. This installation was inspired by the drawing “The Unbroken Attraction of Nature” by Max Peintner from 1970/71. A total of almost two hundred thousand people visited the art installation, which made international waves. The trees are now recovering from their trip to the show biz in the Tullner Feld in Lower Austria, where ForForest Innovation GmbH emerged from the art initiative.
