Wilhering Abbey as a congress backdrop and source of inspiration for a new humanism
In the Renaissance, humanism was understood as the development of human ability through the combination of knowledge and virtue. With this in mind, Abbot Reinhold Dessl, Chris Müller and representatives of the Wilhering community have agreed to initiate a platform for humanism. The aim is to meet future digital and ecological challenges with humanistic values. The very first festival of its kind, which will take place on the grounds of Wilhering Abbey in 2022 with a renowned, international and interdisciplinary group of guests, will provide important impetus for this.
CMb.industries provides support in the precise staging of the rooms and the area; in accordance with the occasion and the location. The identity of the monastery and the significance of the location must be reflected in the theme and be tangible on site. To this end, a preliminary study was commissioned by Wilhering Abbey.
