Industrial halls are being transformed into open workshops, think tanks, shared workspaces, sports courts, and event spaces. Welcome, Village People
The first Village People have already moved into Bern.Dorf. The neighborhood is transforming from a purely industrial site into a vibrant village square. The fire from the former stove production has remained, and now the new residents are all fired up about Mödling’s new hot spot.
The Development Team
Bern.Dorf Life GmbH is essentially the equivalent of the local council, a bit like the volunteer fire department, or the metaphorical village innkeeper. The team is responsible for fostering village life, addressing the concerns of the Village.People, and overseeing the development and renovation projects on the site. It consists of a multidisciplinary team that draws on expertise from development projects carried out by Berndorf Immobilien AG, the Tabakfabrik Linz, NOVA ZONE Innovation GmbH, and CMb.industries GmbH, among others.
